The kids are playing in the neighbors blow up pool outside. There was some recent tensions between us and the neighbors. It's straightened out now, but the only reason it's resolved is the kids just started playing together, and we had to talk to them to get it cleared up. We went to visit kershocton and had a good time. The highlight for me was going to a tractor pull. It was the first time the boys have seen one and they loved it. Sarah and I went to Great Escape this past weekend and we had a blast. Sarah won first place in the baking contest for her cookies. Sarah also won first place in the creative arts - coloring contest. Audrey's birthday was yesterday and Sarah's birthday is today!Audrey had her 1 year physical today. Don't be too shocked at the numbers - yes she is underweight but not too big of a concern. She weighed 17 pounds even at her 9 month check-up and this time only weighed 17 pounds 7 ounces. She was 5th percentile for weight and that was a change from her growth curve (again) that she had been on.

Almost 6 months ago the dentist put a device in Colton's mouth to prevent him from sucking his thumb. We didn't think it would work because when we got home he could still suck his thumb.However, now it has been almost 6 months and he has stopped sucking his thumb. You can see the worn out gasket. I am sure this is the culprit. This gasket acts like a fuel pump. There is no float, the flow is controlled wth needles and the gasket This carb has a spiral shaped auger looking thing in it that spins the air. I don know why its in there so I'm not messing with it.

Dad gave me a snowblower. But it seems to lack power (doesn't everything?) so after this last storm I decided to tear into it and crank up the power! Found a worn out pumper gasket in the carb. Now I just need to fond a place that carries the gasket.

A couple weeks back I bought a twin size headboard and footboard (and the railings, etc..) at a garage sale for $2. They were stained a dark brown but were chipped and peeling.
